About us

Catch & Relax started in 2005 and is today a well-known fishing guide company that offer fishing and nature adventures. Our promise is to provide our customers a fantastic wildlife adventure and high end services. We will be very pleased to welcome you to our beautiful destination – Stockholm, with its remarkable archipelago next door. Welcome to our world – so close even though it seems far away!

Fishing boats

Our four boats (19.2*24 and 32 feet) are American fishing boats built specifically for this purpose, spacious and stable. We only use top quality equipment and the latest technologies, to make sure everything on our boats runs perfectly.

Offer description

Bring friends, a loved one or family for an unforgettable day in the Stockholm Archipelago or Lake Mälaren. Choose between a guided tour with fly or spin fishing from boat – perfect for an avid fishing enthusiast, friend groups like the bachelor party, bridal showers or trips extending your stay in Stockholm.
We fish all year round as long as the waters are open. We fish for sea trout between October to May and year round for pike and perch. When we go fishing we also make sure that you get a good meal. On top of that, we also offer boat tours, suitable accommodation and transports.
All our tours include boat, a professional assistance of a fishing guide, all necessary equipment, cold and hot drinks as well as snacks and a light lunch. Our guides are certified and our operations are fully insured.

Bring someone dear to you – or even a number of friends – on an unforgettable day in the archipelago. Everyone needs to get away from the responsibilities and obligations of daily life and enjoy some relaxing time.

Fly-fishing from a Boat for Pike and Trout
An offer for 2-3 persons. A day without fishing is a wasted day, someone said. Fly-fishing is perhaps the most fabled fishing method of all. There is simply something mystical about fly-fishing. To glide through the water, to feel close to nature and its power, is quite amazing. Anyone can learn the basics, but it’s good to have patience.

“Drop In” Fishing
A new concept by Catch & Relax and a unique way to embark on a guided sport fishing trip. Maybe you wish to learn more about different methods of fishing yourself or wish to meet like-minded people – book the trip or just come by and follow us on a guided sportfishing day. Two times a month on Sundays we leave from Vaxholm!

Boat trip
Many use Catch & Relax for guided boat tours, where you can admire Stockholm from the water, or take a tour through the amazing 30,000 islands around the City. You choose where and for how long! Our largest boats are equipped with a toilet on board and other amenities, due to its size. Combine it with lunch, dinner or maybe even a sauna!

Safety on board

The customer’s safety is our top priority. We ensure that boats are seaworthy and operated with good seamanship. We are authorized according to the Swedish Fishing Guide Association (SOF) certification and staff requirements. Including holding necessary skipper certifications, Swedish class VIII (and VII for open waters) and, when needed, certified to maneuver high-speed vessels (+35 knots). We hold VHF certificate and full boat insurance + passenger liability insurance.

Our boats are equipped with all necessary safety equipment such as VHF, first aid kit, emergency flares, whistles, etc. Correctly used life jackets are mandatory to wear for all customers.
